Please keep the family in your prayers.

Hello from Michigan

"Here is a picture with my ski group. We are discussing the different trips that are going to be going on for the rest of this year and next year. Mostly skiing. I am doing well and working hard like always. Our university now has 28,000 students, can you believe that? I am on the technology committee, so I can suggest improvements to our IT Department. My dad would be getting a big kick that I am an associate professor. Hope you all are doing well. I keep Karen's husband in my prayers."

My nephew, Chris, who lives in Michigan is in Italy conducting a photography class. He sent this email today and some pictures:

I hope you are all doing well. I have attached a couple of images from yesterdays morning and evening shoot."

Farm Day at Briley Farms

"I wanted to forward you this flyer. Ms. Lisa, Eric's mom, is holding this farm fun day for her 4H club. She told me to invite any children I thought would enjoy it. So I thought it might be something for the blog in case anyone is interested."

Thanks,
Monica

Learning to Crochet!

Madonna Cherry, wife of Stan Cherry (Ed's cousin), works at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in the IT Department. She decided to teach a crocheting class at the Pactolus Resource Building beside the Fire Station recently. The class will last for 4 weeks, meeting on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Tuesday was the first night. The only cost of the class is to donate 2 crocheted hats for cancer patients at PCMH. If anyone may be interested, you can contact Madonna at mcherry@embarqmail.com.

Kevin, Farrish and Kelli attended the first, basic class. They had a great time.

Update on Karen's Husband, Scott

Scott begins radiation this morning at 7, which will be every day during the week for 7 weeks, I believe. He also begins chemo this morning at 8:30, which will last 6 hours one day a week for about 7 weeks. Thank you for all the support he has received. Please continue to keep Scott and his family in your prayers.
Thanks, Annette
