Update on Karen's Husband, Scott

Scott begins radiation this morning at 7, which will be every day during the week for 7 weeks, I believe. He also begins chemo this morning at 8:30, which will last 6 hours one day a week for about 7 weeks. Thank you for all the support he has received. Please continue to keep Scott and his family in your prayers.

Softball Field Dedication Planned

Everyone is invited to attend a dedication of the "Ed Whitehurst Softball Field" located on County Home Road behind the Pitt County Senior Citizen Building outside Greenville. It will be on October 14 at 10:30 a.m.

Joe DelMonte Joins the Military

Mike and LeeAnn DelMonte's son, Joe, leaves for Lackland AFB on November 24 which is 2 days before Thanksgiving. We are all very proud of him and wish him the best. He and his family will be spending "Whitehurst Thanksgiving" with us, so everyone can wish him well that day.
