Vacation Pictures of Alaska

"I have just returned from a week cruise along the SE coast of Alaska."

From: Mindy (Robin James' wife from California)

I remember that Robin & Mindy went to Alaska on their honeymoon-many, many, many years ago!!!!!

News From My Niece in Michigan

"Here is a picture of me with my ski friends at our June picnic. I have been a member of this group for 4 years. It was a lot of fun. I will probably be skiing with these guys this winter up North. I will be on the canoe trip with them this summer. We canoe on the Osabo River. Say Hi to everyone and hope all is well. Your pig roast looked like fun and I am sure everyone had a great time. Sorry I missed it.

I am taking a pottery class 2 time a week and am really enjoying it. Tonight it the red wings game so if we win we get the Stanley cup one more time."

My Friend Brenda & Company Visit DC

Brenda & Jimmy, son and wife, Michael and Mary, visited family in Washington, DC, last weekend. They were able to see all the tourist sites and had a great time visiting with Karen, extended family. I've included a couple of pictures.

Janene & Grandchildren Visit Susan in Bethel

Visitors Last Sunday

Our friends, Doug & Ute, who travel the country in their RV stopped to visit us last Sunday on the way from their home-base in Naples, Florida, to Virginia for their grandson's high school graduation. We enjoyed their visit and they were able to meet many friends and family members during the day.

Last Saturday at Friend's Birthday Party

Stephanie, a friend of mine who lives in Farmville, was surprised with birthday #40. Family from out of town and local friends were waiting under the back yard tents when she and her family returned from her daughter's softball game mid-afternoon on Saturday. She was wonderfully surprised. A big thank you goes to Constance, our friend who did so much of the planning and preparation.
