My Cousin Passes Away This Weekend, Carolyn Dunn, Greensboro

GREENSBORO — Mrs. Carolyn Singleton Dunn, 70, of Greensboro, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Beacon Place.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, at Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Road, Greensboro. Inurnment will be private.
Carolyn was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, James Ashton Dunn, of the home; two sons, James Ashton Dunn Jr. and wife, Katharine, of Alexandria, Va., and Michael Anthony Dunn and wife, Deborah, of Lighthouse Point, Fla.; two sisters, Rebecca Jackson of Red Springs, N.C., and Susan Jones of Montclair, N.J.; four grandchildren, James Ashton Dunn III, Katharine Withington Dunn, Michael Murphy Dunn, and Caroline Ayers Dunn.
The family will receive friends in the church Fellowship Center following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Beacon Place, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405; Christ United Methodist Church, 410 N. Holden Road, Greensboro, N.C.; and The Autism Society of North Carolina, 122 N. Elm Street, Greensboro, NC 27401; or the charity of the donor's choice.
