"Here are some pictures of Jessica at camp. She has really enjoyed painting (and eating) with fingerpaints! As you can see, she is standing and squatting really well and sits up like a pro.
At the end of each session, the teacher (Erika) gives stickers to each child for activities they did well with. Jessie sticks out her pointer finger to get the stickers and helps to put them on the chart. She LOVES this part and is fascinated with the stickers. She seems to be so proud of herself!
We have been working on walking for 5-10 minutes at the beginning and end of each day's session. At first, Jessie would not move her feet at all and we were moving them for her. Now, she will initiate the movements by herself or with verbal prompting or tickling, but her steps are still too small. We are very pleased though that she is beginning to control her legs now and if we stick with it every day, we think she will continue to improve."
