Betty Garrenton, Bethel/Washington

Some of you may remember Betty Garrenton who grew up in Bethel. Her father was Dr. Garrenton who worked at the Bethel Clinic.

Elizabeth M. Garrenton WASHINGTON, N.C. - A memorial service for Elizabeth Mather Garrenton will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 at Zion Episcopal Church, 7302 US Highway 264 East, Washington, with the Rev. Barbara Chaffee officiating. Visitation will follow in the Parish Hall and burial will follow later in the day at Bethel Cemetery, Bethel. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889 or to the Beaufort County Humane Society, PO Box 8, Washington, NC 27889.
